Cat Tails

Cut Fur 5" x 24"

Sew down long side and curve seam at end.

Trim along seams, turn and stuff.

Ears

Cut ears 2 fur and 2 fabric.  (Make sure you flip the ear pattern if you are cutting single layer fabric).

Pin fur and fabric together well.  It will help the fabric not slip away from the fur as you sew.

Sew fabric & fur ears right sides together with 1/4" seam.

Trim point of seam allowance.

Turn Right Side Out.

Press or flatten, pin and top stitch.

Fold curved side of ear in aprox. 1"

Tack Stitch.

Trim lower edge

​

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cut 1" strip of fur and glue to headband.

Glue finished ear to headband making sure the thicker area where the ear is folded is held down with a good blob of glue until it has dried so it holds well.

Dalmatian Ears

Start with a headband and strip it

down to the single layer of fabric

underneath.

Take a  grey / pink inside ear and put a bead of hot glue around the edge and stick to the white ear.

Using the black felt, fold it into 4 and cut random dots out.  Lay the dots on the white ear and then using a little zig zag of hot glue, glue them on.

Attach ears to headband at aprox. the 10:00 and 2:00 position.
